We have been informed will be receiving a very small shipment of test kits on Thursday. In accordance with DPH recommendations, we will be distributing them first to first responders, essential town workers, and day care providers. The remainder--current estimate is approximately 50--will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the firehouse on Thursday 1/6 from
4-7 pm.
With so few kits available, we are asking that only people with an immediate need--such as an imminent visit to someone who is vulnerable or an employment requirement--seek one. Please do not ask for a kit to have in your medicine cabinet "just in case. "
N95 masks will be available at the same time. In addition, masks can be obtained at the Scotland Public Library during its regular hours: Wednesday and Friday 3-7, and Thursday and Saturday 9-noon.
