Forum for Board of Selectmen Candidates

The Scotland Democratic and Republican Town Committees will jointly sponsor a forum for Board of Selectmen candidates on Tuesday, October 14th, 7:00 PM, at the Scotland Volunteer Community Hall, 47 Brook Road. Citizens will have the opportunity to hear the candidates briefly introduce themselves, then respond to questions proposed by audience members. People will write their questions in advance and hand them to moderators, representing each of the town committees, who will agree on the questions to pose to the candidates. Only questions that pertain to the responsibilities of the Scotland Board of Selectmen will be allowed. We ask that people who want to propose questions arrive at least 15 minutes early. Candidates’ will have strictly limited time to respond.
