NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

Date: October 7th, 2025

Time: 7:00pm

Location: Scotland Volunteer Community Hall

The Electors and Citizens qualified to vote in Town Meetings of the Town of Scotland, Connecticut, are hereby notified and warned that a Special Town Meeting of said Town will be held in Scotland Volunteer Memorial Hall, 47 Brook Road, Scotland, Connecticut on the 7th day of October, 2025, at 7 o’clock in the evening for the following purposes:

To elect a Moderator.
To Consider and Act on a bond resolution of up to 16.9 million dollars for the design, acquisition, repair and placement of various bridges; renovations to the Public Safety Complex and Town Hall Renovations;
To Consider and Act on a Speed Camera Ordinance;
To Consider and Act on a Blight Ordinance;
To Consider and Act on the purchase of a new $54,000 tractor for the Department of Public Works;
To transact any other business proper to come before said meeting;
